Insights: Masterclass with Natalya Romaniw and The National Opera Studio

Fresh off her spectacular performance as Gutrune in Barrie Kosky’s production of Götterdämmerung, join soprano Natalya Romaniw in this exclusive opera masterclass with the National Opera Studio. Later in the Season, Romaniw is starring as Giorgetta in Il tabarro, one of the stories of Richard Jones’s Il trittico.

Natalya Romaniw is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Awards include Young Artist of the Year at the Gramophone Classical Music Awards and Singer of the Year at the Royal Philharmonic Society Awards (both 2020). Recent operatic highlights include Sieglinde in Die Walkūre, Helena in Festen, and Tosca (Royal Opera House), Tosca (Dutch National Opera, Staatsoper Hamburg, Oper Frankfurt, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Welsh National Opera), Ariadne (Ariadne auf Naxos), Rusalka, Tatyana in Eugene Onegin (Garsington Opera), and Helena in Festen (Finnish National Opera).
